FRAGMENTED FIGURE

FEMALE FIGURE

has to work the mono-print and my personal investigation I found my self forced to brake my dry-point-etching plate getting as a result a FRAGMENTED FIGURE that after observing and having a deep reflection on it I separated, rotated, moved and dispersed the broken pieces during the printing process on the white wet paper; searching for an expression within the UNIVERSE of the FEMALE FIGURE.

Women have always represented Mother Nature. She created life and has sustained the human race since the beginning of times. She has been worship and revered as the Mother of all.

Within the years of my artistic investigation the HUMAN FIGURE has played an important role in my inner expressions because of its ersatility and universal relation with all the elements of nature. I have searched for it in my landscapes and my three-dimensional sculptures.

During my print research I started experimenting with MONO-PRINTS and continued my investigation within the Human Figure this time the Female Figure Because of the technique’s exigency, the quick approach, the spontaneity one.

Women have always represented Mother Nature. She created life and has sustained the human race since the beginning of times. She has been worship and revered as the Mother of all.

Through this body of work I address our fragmented relationship with the real value of woman on today’s society represented in the broken plates.
